While we have been dealing with the consequences of "Developments in Optics and Communications 2015" (we will also post a short review story soon), there have been some slight changes in our chapter board.
Firstly we would like to thank Arturs Bundulis for all the support and all the work he put in as vice-president of UL SPIE to make DOC2015 happen. Replacing Arturs will be a challenge, but we think that there is a candidate up for the job.
Now that the cat is out of the bag, without further ado, we are excited to announce our new vice-president – Paula Jankovska.

We hope that what is left of this board year will bring a lot of positive changes to our chapter and we are sure that Paula will be a great addition to our team.
