Recently the University of Latvia Student Chapter celebrated their 11th anniversary.
The celebration included entertaining activities related to teambuilding and stimulating creative thinking. It started with the initiation of our new Members, continued with popular board and strategic games, and ended with a birthday cake.

For 11 years the University of Latvia SPIE Chapter has highlighted optics, photonics as well as physics in general in all Latvian universities. Every year new members of our chapter come up with their novel concepts, inspiration, suggestions and motivation to reach their goals.

Last but not least, in the team games our members generated some excellent ideas for the upcoming international students’ conference Developments in Optics and Communications that we host every year here in Riga. Now with fresh ideas and full of energy the UL SPIE Student Chapter starts its spectacular 12th year.
